5 Ways to be the “face” of your business

One of the most overlooked ways to get the word out about your business is through using a professional headshot.

5 Ways to be the face of your business

As a concierge, personal assistant, caretaker (or other personal services business) despite what you think, you are officially the “face” of your business.

Now before you tell me “I can’t afford that…” actually – you Realllly can!

There are so many amazing photographers out there that can provide you with 2 or 3 high-quality photos for under $200. Some charge MUCH more, and some even less than that!

As a matter of fact, last year I had a 5 hr photoshoot done at my Beach House. It was mid “Covid” times, and I was craving a fresh feeling and look to shake my quarantine sadness…

I searched and found an AMAZING local photographer who took over 2,000 photos of me in 7 different outfits lol…

Of course, after you delete the closed eyes, the mid-blink, and the odd camera angle pics I ended up with 75 GORGEOUS “Lifestyle” photos. AND she charged me $400.

Side note… She totally undercharged me, and I made her double her invoice and resend it.

Obviously, when you’re just getting started, you do NOT need all of that, but 2-3 quality photos (that show your personality) are an investment in yourself AND your business that will pay you back for years to come.

Now that I made my point about getting a pro-shot…

Here are 5 Ways to use and get the MOST out of your Headshot:

#1 Website

Help people connect with the “human” behind the business. People always “look for” the person that may be coming into their home. This is how people quickly build know, like, and trust.

Relationships are what stir business and make money.

#2 Facebook Pages

It’s one of the best ways to show that you and your team are the professionals that everyone knows you are, while at the same time you’re helping others connect to YOU and what you do through REAL Life photos.

#3 Your Business Card

Never be “forgotten” again! The easiest way for people to remember you after they met you is through a professional photo on your business card.

A photo on your business card means people will remember who you are and can put a face to your name. AND they are more likely to follow up with you too.

#4 LinkedIn Profile

First impressions are everything. LinkedIn research indicates that profiles with photos are much more likely to be viewed than those without photos.

#5 Email Marketing

Just like your website – People LOVE to connect with and be reminded of WHO you are. A great professional image of you immediately helps people remember who you are.

Soooo…

Do you think you would have MORE brand recognition or LESS brand recognition if you were prominently showcasing your professional headshot?
