Don’t Have Enough Clients in Your Business?
Has there ever been a time in your Concierge Business when you thought – I just don’t have enough clients? I know building a Concierge Business is very unique in many ways! But today’s post is relevant to any and ALLLLL businesses who don’t think they have enough (or need more) clients.
So, I’ll ask you…
Have you ever experienced a “slow down” in your business before?
I want to take this week to share with you exactly how we manage “slowdowns” in our Concierge Business.
4 step process when you feel you don’t have enough clients in your business:
When you’re experiencing a “lull” in business, the most important thing is to look in the rearview mirror!
- Go back and look at each and every month this year in terms of sales.
- Then track your marketing efforts the 6 months leading up to each month.
- What did you STOP doing that may have negatively impacted your sales in the following months?
- What WERE you doing the 6 months BEFORE an awesome month?
This is a process we do on a consistent basis…and especially when I notice UP or DOWN shifts in our business growth.
What you want to do on a regular basis is:
Look/Review/Analyze then SHIFT!
I’ll share one of the things I noticed last year that actually INCREASED our client base. Last year when I did this review, I noticed that over 50% of all our NEW clients had come from direct and indirect referrals.
But I also noticed that many of those new clients bought larger and bigger packages.
So how did I use this information??
I made sure that we INCREASED our referral marketing – and put more MONEY into our referral marketing which results in more referrals and bigger business.
Sounds like a no brainer right?
Well, you wouldn’t realize how many people simply overlook the obvious!
Now it’s your turn.
If you’re having a slowdown or don’t seem to have enough clients right now, consider these points:
- Did you stop networking as consistently as you were before?
- What did you STOP doing that was working before?
Or perhaps you see how BUSY you are? Consider why that may be:
- Did you start speaking to local groups to educate about your services?
- Did you offer a new service that boosted your sales?
- Did you join a mastermind group that helped you get clear on your business goals?
As a business owner, it is your JOB to consistently be reviewing and course correcting along the way…

Pull out some paper and review each month of this year. What did you DO or STOP doing that affected your overall sales so far this year?
