Fill the Funnel to Grow Your Concierge Business

The Post-It Note on My Laptop: Fill the Funnel

You know that quote – “The day you plant the seed is not the day you harvest the fruit”?

That’s the one on a bright yellow Post-It stuck to my laptop. And wow, do I read it a lot. Especially during the seasons in business when things feel slow. When no one’s calling. When leads are drying up. When you feel like you’re doing all the things, and still crickets.

Here’s what I want you to remember (just like I remind myself):

There’s a natural cycle in every business. Especially if you’re building a personal concierge business or offering non-medical senior services.
You won’t always see results right away. But that doesn’t mean your efforts aren’t working.

You’re just in the planting phase.

And planting seeds is your job.

Your Daily Mission: Fill the Funnel

Let me tell you a story…

A few years back, I found myself stuck. I had stopped networking. I wasn’t sending out my monthly warm letters. My business plateaued. I stared at my client list my trusty “Love ‘Em Up List” and it was looking painfully skinny.

Some had moved, some already became clients, and some weren’t the right fit. Cue the panic.

I started spiraling. Fear took over.
“How will I grow if there’s no one left to follow up with?”

That’s when I heard three little words in my head:

Fill the Funnel.

I grabbed a Post-It and scribbled them down. That Post-It is still on my laptop today.

It was my wake-up call.
If the funnel was empty, it wasn’t because the world dried up.
It was because I stopped doing the things that once filled it.

So I recommitted.
To networking.
To follow-ups.
To showing up and being visible even when I didn’t feel like it.
Because I knew:

The day you plant the seed is NOT the day you eat the fruit.

If you want more clients and income in September, October, or November your work starts now. Not later.

What It Looks Like to Fill the Funnel

You don’t need to spend a fortune on ads. You don’t need a fancy website. You do need a plan to stay visible and keep building your network.

In fact, I’m hosting a FREE Masterclass on August 10th at 2 PM ET:
“3 Ways to Get More Clients (without spending a dime on Ads)”

I’ll walk you through exactly what I did to fill my funnel and create a million-dollar business yes, by running errands and helping people in my local community.

Seats are limited, so be sure to grab your spot right here!

Now, while you wait for that class, I want to give you a few practical steps you can start using this week.

1. Revisit Your Love ‘Em Up List

You’ve probably got people you haven’t checked in on in a while past leads, former clients, people who asked about your services once but never followed through. Go back through that list and ask:
Who needs a friendly check-in?

2. Ask Yourself: Am I Being the Face of My Business?

Are you showing up? People need to know you exist and what you do. Whether it’s through networking, emails, or social media, be visible. Need help? Read this: 5 Ways to Be the Face of Your Business Today.

This is especially important if you’re running a business helping seniors stay at home. Trust is everything. And trust is built when you’re consistent and present.

3. Stop Doing Things That Don’t Work

It’s easy to fall into “busy work” mode spinning your wheels on things that don’t actually move the needle. Been there. Done that.

Check out this game-changer blog: Stop Indulging in Busy Work. It’ll help you shift from scattered action to smart strategy.

Focus Keyphrase: How to Get Clients for a Senior Concierge Business

If you’re building a senior concierge business, this is the question to focus on: How do I get more clients?
The answer lies in filling the funnel every day. That’s how.
Not once a quarter. Not when the phone stops ringing.
Every day.

You’re planting seeds.
Some of those seeds take weeks to sprout. Others might take months.
But if you stop planting, you stop growing.

That’s what happened to me. And that’s what that little Post-It is there to remind me
