I have been in business for myself for almost a decade now. There have been soooo many learning curves along the way. To be honest, I didn’t know how to do ANYTHING when it came to starting or running a business.

What I knew – was that I was good at “taking care of people” and “being organized”.

What I didn’t know was pretty much anything else.

I didn’t know how to set up my business. I didn’t know if I needed to be an LLC or S Corp. (or all the other options)

I didn’t know what services I wanted to offer.

I didn’t know if I wanted to add pet services into my business model.

I didn’t know who (or even what) an “ideal client” was.

I didn’t know how to price my services.

I didn’t know if I should market this way or that.

I didn’t know if I should put that ad in the local paper (don’t do that).

I didn’t know if I should learn Facebook or Twitter (Twitter was a big deal back then)

I didn’t know HOW to do any of it …

You may feel the same way!

But I have a secret to tell you…

… the BIGGEST thing that will get in your way is DECISION DELAY …

Have you ever heard of decision fatigue?? It’s a real thing!

It’s the “fear” of making a decision. Because you’re afraid it won’t work – or you’re afraid it will be the “wrong” decision.

I have many clients who come to me and get “stuck” in decision delays … it’s when they become FROZEN in “indecision” …

And it’s THE thing that keeps them back…

They will come to me about pricing – or wanting to try a new networking group – or they want to STOP offering a service – or they want to ADD  a new service …

And even when I share with them the options – they STILL get STUCK …

Here’s the secret they’re starting to get though – there are NO RIGHT or WRONG Answers – they are just next steps…

Whatever step you take, make the decision to do it – go ALL in! And then as you see the results of that decision, you’ll know the NEXT step …

What happens is that most people won’t make a decision and when you make NO decision – you are sitting in the muck – not moving forward …

Then as we hold off making a decision – the “weight” of that decision seems to get heavier and heavier… It’s as if your decision backpack day after day has another brick added to it …

I know you know EXACTLY what I mean!!

When’s the last time you made a BIG decision??

Did you make it swiftly or did you sit on it for days and days or even months out of fear that you might make the wrong decision …

Here’s what I want you to know …

You can choose anything you want with the power of deciding!

BUT – be sure you like the reasons for your decisions!

Never make a decision to say yes or no to something out of fear.

Never make a decision to do or not do something out of anger.

When we make decisions out of fear or anger … we create results that will give us BACK more fear, anxiety, insecurity, guilt, unworthiness, desperation, despair, powerlessness.

When you DECIDE to say YES or NO to something – be sure you like your reasons – that’s the greatest thing I can teach you about decision making …

When making a decision, always do so with a clean heart first XO

No matter what decisions you are faced with this week:

Don’t waste time in indecision

Clean up your thoughts first

Decide from a place of joy and abundance

Know that no matter what the result – your next step will be revealed

You can completely change your life by changing the daily decisions you make that affect how you live and show up in the world ?
