Have you started a concierge business, but aren’t sure how or what to charge? One of the biggest questions I get asked is about how to price your services. When people start out in business, many will email and ask questions like “what do you charge”. I can tell you, that ideal clients who want to work with you and hire you are actually looking for MORE than just a price.
They are looking for the value you provide when you price your services. How then, do YOU price your Concierge services to be in line with the true value of what you provide?
In order to have a clearer pricing strategy, I want you to consider a very important point first.
When people hire YOU, they aren’t just blindly hiring someone to “do stuff” they are actually looking for someone who provides value to them beyond that of just doing tasks. That is the KEY to pricing your Concierge services.
So I want you to ask yourself, what do you REALLY provide?
Here are a list of questions to consider when you’re creating a pricing structure that supports the value you bring to the table.
- What expertise do you have? Whether from your personal life or a previous corporate career?
- What skill set do you have that not everyone else has?
- What is your productivity level like? Are you highly efficient?
- Who do you KNOW that can add value to your clients’ lives?
- What is your influence level within your industry and community?
- How do you complete tasks and correspond with your clients that perhaps others do not?
So when you sit down to figure out how to price your services, please don’t JUST think “I’ll do what everyone else does”.
You are a unique person, with unique skills, and a unique business model. Each business also serves a different population of ideal clients.
Some concierge businesses cater to the wealthy whereas some cater to the city life. Some provide services to the fortune 500 Companies and others have a focus on seniors in a small town.
Pricing varies.
