This week I want to share with you 5 tools I use each week to run my business:
Canva
We use Canva to create images to use on social. One of my favorite ways to use Canva is to create personalized graphics to celebrate members of our 100K Club.
My other top use is to make FB Banners that we use and switch out throughout the year based on time of year, promotions we’re running, or for a little holiday bling.
I used the FREE plan for years before upgrading a few months ago to the paid plan.
Slack
When we started using Slack in my local concierge business over 4 years ago, it completely revolutionized the way the Team and I would communicate.
Using Slack helps us to stay OUT of email (the pit of despair) AND also off our cell phones.
We have specific channels set up for team communication, a place for the team to upload photos, where we manage the weekly schedules PLUS sooo much more! Slack is one of the Tools I teach the members of our 100K Platinum Group. They are concierges who’ve all made at least 30K and need to streamline the way they use team, technology, and systems to increase sales and profit.
We still use the FREE plan.
Asana
A project management software.
When I first started using Asana about 9 years ago – I used it solely to track client needs/tasks. As I got familiar with the software, I used it more and more to create systems and processes in my own business. Now we have over 50 documented “systems” which is how I was able to double my sales from 100K to 200K (a year) in 2 years.
Yep – You guessed it – We still use the FREE version of the platform. It’s super robust.
Facebook
Facebook is where most of my “right fit clients” hang out, so it’s the place I focus more of my time. Just be careful because too many people put all their time into social media without knowing where their ideal clients are hanging out. The prettiest of graphics don’t SELL you, YOU do!
Stripe
How we take payment online for a variety of our small-scale products such as a copy of my book The Concierge Life or the Concierge Starter Kit.
In my local business, however, we used Paypal or SquareUp
Here’s the thing though my friend. NONE of this is “necessary” to get your first handful of clients. What you need most in the VERY beginning is to be front facing, talking to as many people as you can, telling them how you can help.
Then when you’re ready start adding these in one at a time!
