Then, I set a new goal: Replace my nursing income. I wanted to stop asking for permission to take a day off. No more missing holidays. No more begging for vacation time. I wanted freedom. That meant bringing in about $2,000 per month.
And that didn’t happen overnight either. It took another full year to create that kind of income consistently without the rollercoaster of a $3K month followed by a $500 one.
But I kept going. I grew my business. I grew my client base. I increased my prices, expanded my team, and most importantly I grew myself.
Eventually, from those humble beginnings, I became a millionaire.
So, How Did I Do It?
I showed up.
Every. Single. Day.
I stopped hiding. I stopped waiting for the perfect moment. I stopped holding myself back because I was afraid of failing or making mistakes.
(Okay, confession I did keep comparing myself to some fantasy version of my “perfect self,” but that’s a trap. Don’t do that. It’s exhausting.)
Instead, I focused on action. Real, imperfect, messy action.
