A New Way to Market Your Services

Today I will be sharing with you a NEW way to market your services. Something you may never have heard of!! OR – you’ve heard of it, but aren’t doing so consistently.

But first – I want to share my excitement with you. ?

Today I am so super stoked!! This afternoon, I’m headed off to the event venue where we’ve booked CALive2019!! There’s a dual purpose to my visit!!

First off, I’ll be there to do a site visit and begin to visualize the layout and room set up for our upcoming event in April.

Next, I’m spending 2 nights at the Inn in a glorious suite for some clarity time!

I scheduled these 2 nights away so that I can begin mapping out and planning what I want to create in 2019 in my businesses, nonprofit, and my life. It’s a great way to unplug from other responsibilities and allow myself to be taken care of and have my meals brought to me while I sit back and allow intuition, guidance, and creativity to flow to and through me. So that I can show up as the best version of me in 2019.

I honestly spend about 4 or 5 FULL days planning on preparing for the next year. First, I consciously say goodbye to 2018. I recognize and give gratitude for all I’ve learned and achieved. Next, I begin some self-discovery exercises – deciding what I really want in 2019. How much impact I want to have. And how I want to show up in the world.

Then … comes all the projects and plans that I and my #1 (Jill) will map out, quarter by quarter and month by month. Then there’s more planning. And breaking down goals into bitesize chunks.

I’ve honestly been anticipating my 2 days away for months now!! But if you want to learn the process I use, get clear on your goals AND on your marketing and map out how to get there in 2019You can still register for our upcoming Strategic Planning Day!

Here’s the link – Jan 10th Strategic Planning Day 9-5 (save the date but register today!)

Ok, so as promised, this week I want to talk to you about a different type of marketing. Marketing that when done this way, has the greatest possible impact! But it’s likely not what you think…

Last week during one of my group coaching calls with the CA students, I taught them this strategy. I know I’ve shared this with them before, but it’s one of those things that often bears repeating!

And I want to share it with you today!

The “new way” to market your business is simply adding “love” into all your marketing efforts.

I know it may sound silly but trust me on this one!

I first learned this concept a few years ago when I read “The Attractor Factor” by Joe Vitale.

But what’s funny – is I was already doing this with my kids!!

In our household, we pack lunches every day. The kids have a choice to buy once per week, but often they prefer packed lunches.

One day my son said something about how good the peanut butter and jelly sandwich was that I had packed that day. I asked him why he thought it was so good…

He responded, “love mom – I could taste the love.” From that day on, every time I make lunches for the kids, I DO SO with love in my heart.

I don’t pay attention to the fact that I’ve likely literally just packed my 5 thousandth lunch.?

I also don’t worry that I have a thousand other things to do.

Instead, I allow my love for my children to ooze into that PB+J sandwich.

Do you now see the correlation to your marketing??

JUST add love!

So, about three years ago, I started adding LOVE into all my marketing (when I remembered of course).

At first, it seemed easy enough. But when I would get busy, I would forget to add this simple secret ingredient. Or have you ever found yourself being so eager to reach a goal or finish a project, you find yourself kinda pushing the whole time? Have you ever noticed when you “push,” you almost hold your breath?!

So, let me share with you what “adding love” into your marketing actually looks and feels like. I’ll give you a few examples so that you realllly get this concept!

  • When you’re sending an email to someone. Whether they are a client, a business connection or someone you’ve never met. As you sit to write that email, open your heart. Doing this always helps you find the perfect words to say.
  • When you show up to a networking event. As you enter the room, hold your head high. Take a deep breath and enter the room with your heart wide open, ready to meet a connection that could change everything for you and your business.
  • When you’re posting on social media. Don’t do it as a “chore,” do it with love in your heart. Perhaps this post will find it’s way into someone’s feed who needs it the most.
  • When you need to make a decision about joining a new group or mastermind group, but you’re “afraid”. Instead, allow love to guide you to whether this group would be a good fit for you. Allow that inner knowing part of you to guide you through love.

Do you see now how LOVE in your marketing is a secret ingredient??

For example:

Can YOU feel the LOVE I am pouring into this blog??

This strategy is worth exploring my friend!!

Would you be willing to give it a try??

So, for the next 4 days, when you do something for your business, take just a few extra seconds to add LOVE in. It really doesn’t take any more time, BUT it does take AWARENESS. Awaken yourself. Find that JOY in your heart and ADD love into your business this week. Then let me know what MAGICAL synchronicities are attracted to your open heart…
