3 Signs You’ve Found Your Ideal Concierge Client

Ideal client, errands for seniors, personal concierge, personal assistant service, help me get organized

These 3 Things = Your “Ideal Client”

If you’re thinking about how to start a profitable senior concierge business, there’s one concept that will come up again and again your “ideal client.”

Even if you’ve been in business for years and never quite nailed this down… please lean in and listen up.

I’m going to make this super simple for you

Clarity is one of the most important factors in building your business. Clarity about your ideal clients, your services, and your pricing is what separates the “maybe it’ll work” businesses from the ones bringing in predictable, sustainable income.

Let’s focus on clarity around who you’re serving.

Whether you’re supporting busy professionals, overwhelmed families, or starting a senior-focused concierge business to help aging adults stay independent getting clear on your ideal client will make your marketing and sales efforts feel effortless.

But here’s what I’ve seen happen time and time again…

“Everyone” Is Not Your Client (Even If You Think So)

When I first started my concierge business, I talked to everyone. I mean, anyone who would listen.

And I truly believed they were all “ideal” clients.

Because who doesn’t need help, right?

Wrong.

About 95% of the people I was talking to weren’t actually right-fit clients. They didn’t need what I offered, or they didn’t value it enough to pay for it.

And that’s the real secret value.

The 3 Qualities Every Ideal Client Must Have

So how do you know if someone is the right fit? It’s easier than you think.

Your ideal client must have all three of these qualities:

  1. They have a problem.
Maybe they’re overwhelmed. Maybe they’re managing elderly parents. Maybe they’re struggling to juggle home, work, and caregiving.

  2. They want to solve that problem.
If they’re not ready to take action, they’re not your person (yet). Desire is key.

  3. They have the money or the willingness to find it.
If they value your help, they’ll invest in solving the problem even if they need to move some things around to make it happen.

If you’re talking to someone who doesn’t meet all three criteria? Bless and release. Don’t waste your precious time and energy.

Why This Matters When You Start a Senior Concierge Business

Let’s say you’re exploring senior support business ideas and plan to help aging adults stay in their homes longer. That’s powerful work!

But not every adult child of a senior is your client. Some don’t see the value in support services. Others want to “DIY” it. Some simply aren’t in a financial position to hire help even if they need it.

The three traits above act as your filter. They help you spend your time with the people who are most likely to become loyal, long-term clients and refer others, too.

And if you haven’t nailed your ideal client yet, don’t worry. You’re not behind. You’re just ahead of the curve now that you’re reading this

Ask Yourself These 3 Qs Every Time You Talk to a Prospect

Every time you have a conversation, ask yourself:

  1. Does this person have a clear problem I can solve?

  2. Are they ready and willing to solve it?

  3. Do they have the financial ability or at least willingness to invest in a solution?

If the answer is yes to all three… you’re probably talking to your ideal client
