Free Image Resources for Your Concierge Business
Hey my friend!!
Are you still recovering from your turkey coma?? I know we sure are! We’re BIG fans of a good leftover turkey panini around here.
What do you do with your leftovers? Got a secret family recipe? Send it my way or drop it in the comments I’m always on the hunt for new ideas to keep my meal game strong!
Let’s talk business (with a dash of creativity).
A few weeks ago, someone inside our Concierge Connections Facebook group asked a great question:
“Where can I find free image resources to use for my business?”
It’s such a great question because when you’re learning how to start a senior concierge business, there’s a TON to discover from systems to branding, to (yes) finding beautiful images that reflect your message and your mission.
So, I rallied the team, and we compiled a list of our favorite free and low-cost image resources to help YOU get started (or continue) on the right foot!
Real Talk: Read the Fine Print
Before you download anything, I always recommend this: read the licensing terms. Some images are totally free to use. Others require credit. And some free sites still have “premium” sections that can trick you into spending money when you didn’t mean to. Be smart and double-check.
Also real talk from a business owner who’s been at this for over a decade invest in your biz where it matters. I personally believe that all images used on your website should be purchased and licensed properly. You’re building a professional brand, after all. Free images? Awesome for social posts, blog content, and email newsletters.
Our Favorite (and Most Used!) Free Image Resources
Here’s our go-to list when we’re creating graphics, blog visuals, or just sprucing up our content:
Pexels– Beautiful high-quality images and videos.
Pixabay – Great mix of photos, illustrations, and music too.
Unsplash – One of the most popular platforms with professional-grade shots.
Canva – Tons of free images, templates, and even animation. Upgrade to Pro for even more goodies.
DepositPhotos – They often run a yearly promo: $100 for 100 images. That can last me an entire YEAR.
Shutterstock – Not free, but worth exploring their bundles.
Word Swag (App) – Perfect for adding text overlays to images on the go!
A Few More Pro Tips from Me to You
Use images to build trust and communicate the emotional benefits of your services especially if you’re building a senior concierge business or focusing on non-medical home care. A caring image can say 1000 words.
Stay on brand! Choose images that match the vibe and values of your business. Soft tones? Cozy lifestyle? Professional and polished? Make sure it’s consistent.
Avoid overused stock photos. You want to stand out, not blend in!
