Today I want to talk about what trust IS, why trust is so important, and how your marketing is the KEY to building trust in your marketplace. 


As a business owner, building trust is the key to your business growth. But it takes time and nurturing if you want to do it right! 


A few weeks ago, I offered 20 free open coaching sessions for anyone who wanted them. It was a first come first serve type of offer…


The response was amazing!! 


I want to take today as an opportunity to share with you something that popped up often during these calls. 


I would ask questions about how long they had been in business and how many clients they had. I would also ask how much money they’re making and what they’re doing to market their business.


Many of the concierges I spoke with had a similar story. 

They weren’t “reallllly” marketing. 


They all “tried” a few things. But none had a repeatable consistent marketing plan in place. 


This is the main thing that keeps people from creating the business and financial results that they truly desire. 


You see, in this type of business, where you’re building close relationships with people, the thing people don’t realize is that your MARKETING builds trust


Can you see that? 


If you haven’t viewed building trust this way before, I hope this is a BIG “AHA” for you! 


I often say to our clients that they must be completely comfortable with us and our team, because we are often in private parts of their homes and have details that need to be held confidential. I jokingly say “you need to be comfortable with us in case we’re ever in your naughty bits drawer” (yes, I actually say that!) But our clients love that we hold the details of their life and business in high regard. 


But that trust needs to start before people even start working with you. 


So how do you build trust while building your concierge business and nurturing those who have expressed an interest in working with you?  


Better yet, how can you build trust BEFORE you ever even meet someone? 


Here Are a Few Tips for Building Trust to Grow Your Business

Some you may have already done, others you may have heard of but haven’t committed to yet: 

(Print this list and use it as your marketing checklist this week!)


  • Have a picture of YOU on your website (people want to know WHO they are working with, and those stock photos are just NOT the same) 
  • Have kick ass testimonials on your website. (25 testimonials is known as the “tipping point” – Of course be sure these are REAL world comments from REAL people) People will get to know you through the words of others. 
  • Make sure your phone number is easily displayed on your website. 
  • Use quality images on your website that you have paid for! (don’t just copy and paste from someone else’s website – that’s just bad mojo)  
  • Provide FREE relevant information for your audience to get to “know you” 
So, how will YOU map out a strategy of building trust with your prospects? 


Remember that everyone has their own buying process. Be there and be relevant and a welcome guest so when they are READY to say “yes… I need YOU”, you will be the one they call.
